Short and sweet

I wiped the jam under her lips.
I bought a packet of chips.
I was munching!
She tried snatching!

She was short!
Sorry, I was too tall.
For the food, we fought.
Something started to befall.

She had to jump a bit.
That's when I was hit,
Straight at face by her
loosely braided hair.

My heart started to pump
With high velocity.
Would she have heard it after her jump?
Would this happen again, pretty?
